wow that looks good.
now I'm split again between the minimalist LS1 bracket and this....
hmmmmmmmmmm
Matt,
You got time my friend, so enjoy making that decision...
if it's a difficult one, then the bracketeers have done their job :D
Although the design approaches are pretty the opposite of each other, either would work... needless to say, LS1's bracket will be less $$ by a long shot...
I'll also point out that the Cyper finished all black ano or in black ano with stainless indy cover is gonna look like a completely different bracket than the one in the pics...
Appreciate the feedback...
Cheers,
D9

Another Superfine product there Seth! I couldn't be happier with my bracket . . . it is everything I could have ever hoped for! I promise as soon as I get her cleaned up and we get some sunny days I'm gonna do that photo shoot outside of the dungeon that you requested! :)

Thanks Hedge... just remember to include some babes in the shoot...matter of fact, some shots of the babes in the notorious dungeon wouldn't be bad either... :D ... that'd pretty much getcha off the "hook" LOL

Any update on this?

Ox,
Thanks for rattling my cage... yes, making good progess...
Spent last weekend working out the indicator housing wiring ports - shapes, sizes, & locations... working today on getting the exterior housing surfaces ready for final finishing, hopefully that'll happen next week.
Custom can for mini tach fabricated & fitted, just need to get it and
the main bracket into anodizing...
Bolted everything up for the first time last weekend - indicator housing, tacho can, and speedo cup - very tight fit, but all components nested together and tucked in under the bracket just like they should, with just enough room for the wiring loom to sneak partially down between the speedo cup and the tach can on it's way to the headlamp...
Will post pics as soon as the first one's complete...
Cheers,
D9

Sweet ass, I'm saving my mod budget for this. I want a tach in the worst way.

What's the financial damage on one of those things? And where would I get the tach or is that the triumph tach?

Hey. This bracket is absolutely amazing.
What's the price, where do I get one, and when can I get it?
Thanks!
Edit: My bad. Didn't see the sticky answering all of my redundant questions... : /

Hey D9 man,
I was wanted this bracket some time ago, but decided to hold off till I really needed it. Well, now I need a bracket.
I was wondering if this will fit with the Thruxton fly screen installed? Let me know please? If it fits, I'll buy one.
Thanks!
Should fit fine... pm sent

Was thinking about a small digital speedometer and a large tach in this. Not sure how it would look and can't figure out how to get a "mock up". Alternately I would imagine a small analog speedo and a large tach would look pretty nice. With the digital I was thinking it'd be easier to read the speed than trying to look at an analog face. Do you know if anyone has put the a small speedo and large tach in this?
Travis - I've often thought it'd look good setup that way too!
No requests to build one "flipped" thus far though...the only thing I'd have to check would be to see if the perpendicular/centered cable spud on the back of a mini speedo would route reasonably well past the back of the headlamp.
But, if a switch was being made to a digital speedo & converting to magnetic speed sensor, then there's no worries about speedo cable clearance... working up a couple of Cyphers now, although with standard orientation.

I wasn't thinking about having the unit flipped. Just putting a small digital speedometer in the right hole and a larger tach in the left. Is there a regulation that says the tach has to be on the right? I was also trying to find a digital speedometer at that size and was wondering what size the tach was.
found a 1 7/8 in from Dakota Digital (then noticed a link to it from your vendor threads) trying to get a price on it.
Ok, gotcha... my bad. No reg that I'm aware of ;)... IMO that setup looks
great on the new Norton

Nice job on that one Seth, I'm thinking the drag specialties mini-tach I already have will fit that setup.
I'd be interested in one anodized gold, if that's something you can do....I'll watch the thread and when you're ready to release them to the inmates, maybe we can do one like that.

Koi... thanks... if memory serves, your tach is a 2.39" unit (also referred to as 2.25", 2 3/8", etc)... the Cypher bracket only takes a 1.9"... I had to go that route to keep the entire bracket as compact as possible...matte gold ano can indeed look good - the right gold powdercoat might also work as well - depends on what else is going on visually on the bike...

Hey Seth, the bike is a goodwood green with accents in gold so the matte gold ano would be a good fit. I'm remembering several other brackets though that might do as well....what would you suggest for that tach/speedo bracket....(one maybe with the ignition switch in it)....
You're getting pretty busy, when do we see a full color catalog?

The 1.9" is for the small guage, what's the size of the large guage?

Just to check, the price gets me the face plate and back housing, without gauges and idiot lights right?
And just to verify that this is what I'm looking for?
It was at drag specialties
