subscriptions

First of all I want to thank Edge1911 for his pictorial on posting pics. But now I have a different delima. Unsubscribing to threads and posts, I do not want all the e-mails associated with them. The instructions said to go to the forum tools listed above and the thread tools above the threads but my eyes aren't finding them. Could some one point this blind dumbass in the right direction?

Ok, I found the tools, I was looking on the left, not the right. I knew as soon as I posted I would find it. I only see an option to subscribe, not to unsubscribe. where do I go from there?

ok, click on USERCP (top left)
scroll down to Options
scroll down to "Default Thread Subscription Mode"
Select "DO NOT SUBSCRIBE"

If you don't change this, changing all your existing subscriptions will only work until you reply to another thread, and it will subscribe you again.
