Condense some things for now...

I've seen a lot of forums start up over the years, some make it, some don't.
I hope this one does.

One thing that kills new boards are having too many areas to post in when there isn't yet the number of members or volume of traffic to justify it.

I suggest that the thruxton and scramblers tech be condensed into the Bonneville tech, and maybe throw in the America/Speedy too.
So you have a twins tech area, and then the lounge (Ace cafe, nice name choice btw!) area.
That's a good way to build interest by just having two main places to check.
If this place takes off, and it starts getting jumbled then by all means divide things up some more.

Anyway, that's my take.

I like your idea but I really suspect that this will take off rather quickly. I think the layout is perfect and well defines the areas. The only thing I was thinking about was some way to say Good Night to everyone last night. Kinda like a Good Night section where everyone can say something like, "I'm outta here, gonna go watch the Yankees play, see ya all tomorrow." or "I'm going Horizontal - see you all tomorrow!" Just something forum friendly so we don't just have to X out and vanish. :)
