If you dont like the bright white/blue-ish background that is set as the default style setting, then please scroll down to the very bottom of a forum page and you should see a drop down box on the far left that says, "Default Style" - click it and you should have an option of "Blacksmart" - this will change the forum display (not the forum logos) to a gray scale.
